CHAAT...the blissful experience

Bliss!!!๐Ÿ’•.. this makes me remember my hometown, Lucknow...CHAAT, the authenticity of this, remains constant here, throughout the metamorphosis of an individual๐Ÿ™‚.. we've been eating the golgappas, tikki, papdi chaat, matar, dahi bhalle, samosas, khasta kachoris etc with utmost love in the pattals(bowls made out of dried leaves) .. the craving to eat these tangy/chatpati delicacies on the thhelas gave us immense pleasure....the skill of the chaatwala bhaiyya, counting the panipuris per plate of 'n' no.of people, used to amaze us..also made us wonder seeing him cater to the 'zyada meethha', 'medium spicy', ' bahaut teekha' requirements of the packed masses around...typically ending into a mandatory plain/masala puri๐Ÿคฃ...

The sound of the spatula on the huge iron pan attracted us to the thhela, and the sight of the cooked golden crispy carbs tossing on it, in the dripping oil with chaat masala and aromatic spices sprinkled on it, was so mouth watering then( hehe now seems impossible to 'digest' literally๐Ÿ˜‰)..the wooden flat so called 'ice cream spoons' were the  mode to delve into the yummy stuff and relish the flavours..

Wowww..I still love to prepare and devour this chaat basket which is a complete treat to the palate❤
